Despite it being a busy day, I was determined that I would send postcards to my youngest nieces and nephew. How often do you find the numerals in the date aligned as today's did? Ten years ago, I sent a postcard to myself. I felt then that 9-9-99 was special.
I wrote to Daphne: "God must created numbers for a special purpose. Perhaps, it's so that we take stock of dates and time. Love life, obey your parents." I don't know why I sounded so paternalistic. I won't be a popular uncle if I continue to remind children to obey their parents.
